The Makita 12V max CXT Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries offer superior balance and ergonomics compared to pod-style batteries.

For extended run time, the 12V max CXT cordless tools are compatible with the 12V max CXT Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah battery (BL1041B, sold separately). The 12V max CXT Lithium-Ion batteries are equipped with a Battery Protection Circuit to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging, and over-heating. They are also part of the expanding 12V max CXT series, which combines performance with superior ergonomics in a compact size.
