Makita XT288T 18V LXT Cordless Combo Kit

The XT288T 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Brushless 2-Piece Combo Kit offers a premium set of brushless tools designed for drilling, driving, and fastening tasks. Included in the kit are two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries that can be used with all Makita LXT® tools. The first tool in the kit is the XDT19 18V LXT® Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver, which features four different power settings to provide precise control during fastening. The Impact Driver also includes Assist Mode (A-mode) to prevent "screw cam-out" and "cross threading," as well as two Tightening Modes (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws.

The XDT19 boasts industry-leading performance in a compact design and includes user-friendly features such as a one-touch 4-speed power selector button and a reverse rotation auto-stop mode. The second tool in the kit is the XPH14 18V LXT® Brushless Variable 2-Speed Hammer Driver-Drill, which offers power and run-time for a variety of drilling tasks. With a brushless motor, the XPH14 delivers increased power, speed, and longer tool life.

Both tools in the kit feature Makita's efficient brushless motor technology for longer run time and improved performance. Additionally, Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) ensures that the tools are resistant to dust and water, making them suitable for use in harsh conditions. The kit is part of the Makita 18V LXT® System, which is powered by lithium-ion batteries with fast charging times for minimal downtime.

To enhance tool performance and extend battery life, Makita's Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the tool and battery to communicate in real-time to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. For added versatility, the tools can be powered by Makita 18V LXT® and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries. The XPH14 Hammer Driver-Drill offers a variable 2-speed function with a brushless motor, while the Impact Driver provides four speed settings for increased torque.
